With the support of MY House, she has achieved three years of sobriety after facing mental health and substance use challenges. As President of the Youth Board, Maggie is passionate about sharing her experience to uplift youth voices and strengthen services for young people.

Odessa Jackson

Youth Representative

Odessa is a person in recovery from addiction with a passion for helping others who have walked similar paths as herself. Being a part of the MY House program allowed her to be a survivor, rather than a victim of circumstance. She is dedicated to supporting her community and improving it in any way she can.

Michelle Parker

Treasurer

Michelle became a MY House client when she was 18 years old, while she was trying to get on her feet. She had no structure and was struggling with mental health and substance abuse. MY House has walked alongside her to achieve her hopes and dreams. Today she lives a beautiful life with 4 years of recovery and an awesome career with MY House. She is truly grateful to have joined the Youth Board of Directors to be able to advocate for clients who are walking down a similar road as she has.

Raven Evan

Member

Raven grew up in a very neglectful home. She started drinking at the age of twelve and was homeless on and off since ninth grade. That is when she came into contact with the MY House program. MY House helped Raven with gaining job experience, food, shelter and provided her with her first ever car through the MY House vehicle donation program. At age 26, MY House and Chickaloon Tribe came to help and got her in touch with True North Recovery, at which point she began her recovery journey. Today she has over two years of sobriety, a job, apartment, car, and she is accomplishing goals she thought she’d never accomplish.

Brendan Haines

Member

Jessica Bailey

Secretary

Jessica entered the MY House program at 22 while in need of stable housing during her outpatient treatment journey. With determination and support, she engaged with in-house resources like Nine Star services and transitional housing to build a foundation for independence. Today, she lives independently with her dog Bella and is pursuing further education through UAA. She is passionate about advocating for youth—both within MY House and beyond.
